Who Are We?

Villy Christensen and Carl Walters – are the key developers of the Ecopath with Ecosim (EwE) approach and software, with emphasis on the computational and analytical aspects, as well as professors of the UBC Fisheries Centre. Sherman Lai, Joe Buszowski, Jeroen Steenbeek and Joe Hui are the key software developers, and all work closely with the design and development of the project.

Villy Christensen, PhD – Principal Investigator, Responsible for computational modeling, overall project performance and direction.

  Sherman Lai

Sherman Lai M.Sc. – Project Coordinator. Oversees the project coordination and development, and involved in the development of interfaces. In charge of implementing state-of-the-art technologies on collaborative environment, as well as in designing human-computer interaction schemes. Internally responsible for project performance, including tracking that development deadlines are met.
